ヽ(;▽;)ノ ちび!

A few months ago I came across ちびのせかい-Chibi no Sekai-,  they are adorable hand crafted chibi  made in polymer clay of various Japanece musicians!! Chibi in Japanese roughly means 'small' but often in Anime and Manga it portrays super cute characters with large heads. After entering the give away to win any custom order, I actually ended up asking the owner of Chibi no Sekai if she would do me a commission and she agreed! Throughout the process she kept in contact and updated me of the progress. Which you don't often find with people when you ask for a commission!

I recieved my package, after much of a long wait because postal services here and in Germany suck! Little Kapibarasan was curious.. わふ〜
Aren't they adorable?! I asked for Renji, as well as Neu as a gift. Because I missed DELeTE last live, I will hand Neu to my Friend when I go back to Japan; so I hope she likes him! I asked for Renji, because he is my favourite member of DELeTE, and the only member to have kept in contact with me.

Overall I love the skill behind these, and the time taken~ I have slightly altered one thing and added a gem to Renji's necklace; but that wasn't the fault of the creator. I was being picky, but she honestly did an amazing job and there is nothing to fault with these!

Both are a little under 5" each in height, though they are keychains I feel they are too delicate to be swinging from my bag! They already have a nice home on my bookshelf. Each chibi also comes with the keychain, I did ask about colouring and letters, and I was allowed to pick colours, extra beads and naming; which you can't see clearly on my photos. However you can see them in their own little folder here!
So do please like her Facebook page! Ask her for commissions; I've asked her already about whether or not she will do K-Pop artists - so she is not limited to just J-Rock!
She does ship out of Germany; and wraps all her creations safe and securely.

PS; She has a give away right now!! It's easy to enter, just like, share and comment! E-A-S-Y!

☆ FUTURE iNVASiON ☆

Earlier I received an interesting yet disappointing message from the Guitarist of DELeTE (well I actually had to ask him about it, since the Bassist talks in riddles worse than I do). After I was fully updated I had to pass on the news, bad news of course that the Bassist, Neu would be departing from the band. (´Д`υ)
The way he worded it, it would be an invasion of another planet, as the band hold a slight space x alien theme, it's cute non the less. Annoyingly I'm the only remaining Staff page to actually update, but oh well.
I spoke a bit to Renji, and he too is departing from the band, so he confirmed that DELeTE would in fact disband and they will all work on their own projects within the future ( ◞‸◟)… Yes I am sad, but it's not the end of the world. Indeed I am still going to follow the ex Band Members on their next adventure. Furthermore, I am happy I got to work with them, even for less than a year, it was fun and they really encouraged me to learn more Japanese.
本当にありがとうございます!!

I always get complimentary photos at the end of the night.

☆ LIVE AbDuction ★

Sep 1 2012: The very first of a new month in Japan! I spent it being a roadie for DELeTE and working along side them. They had a live at Ikebukuro EDGE and I have never been to this venue so luckily they took me along with them. It has been my second time working with them this year, but still very nervous being around them! (ノ´▽`)ノ

We arrived early that morning and I helped moved their equipment to allocated spots before going to watch the other bands sound check. It was a sigh of relief that Kuro was working again that day, so I had a familiar female face to bond with. We mainly sat in the make up room and dressing area which was fascinating to watch regular men turn into what we all see in glossy magazines and photos. When DELeTE went to sound check me and Kuro ran off for food and when we got back they had finished so Kuro dragged their Bassist off to finish his hair and finally the Vocalist was pulled off. Σ(・ω・ノ)ノ
Since we were sat between backstage and the passage to get to the main hall, a lot of Girls kept glancing around the door every time it opened, by this time I was worried that if I left the room, I wouldn't get back through the door. However no one seemed to pay much attention to the foreigner slipping backstage. (。・ω・)ノ゙
The first band playing had a female vocalist and she was so sweet - albeit I wanted to take her to go eat since she was nothing but bones, uggh.
Having to do similar work as in March however I think this time was much better, despite my nerves I gradually warmed up to talking to a couple people steadily. It was pretty much DASH DASH when DELeTE had to go on, the guys were bumming around yet their name was called a dozen times before they moved. So Kuro and I went to the main hall and sat by their table (。A。)!!! Sadly I only had a small digi camera, but I was allowed to take photos for the band again! (・ω・)

After watching them play, me and Kuro wiggled our way backstage in order to grab the Guitars etc and equipment and move back for the next band. Kuro sadly had to leave, so we took a photo before I went and sat with the band. Awkwardly I had to fix some of Renji's make up since the heat was insane backstage, but we moved into the main hall again and I sat back waiting for the next band that night. I was happy to see some familiar faces in the crowd too! DELeTE have a rather Friendly fanbase who were curious to ask who I was and if I would be at their next live too. (*´д`*)

The journey home was tiring, and their Bassist passed out rather quickly and slept soundly until Renji started to yell 'OH MY GOD' because the heavy rain caused chaos on the roads. We stopped off a McDonalds, woo~ I really enjoyed working with DELeTE again. This time I had the band all to myself too.

(つω`*)☆ DELeTE ニコニコ!

DELeTE @ 六本木 BeeHIVE
『Live Stream K-Station ~D.chi Birthday Voyage~』
Today I watched DELeTE @ 六本木 BeeHIVE, via ニコニコ. The live was for D.chi and his Birthday which was previous this week! D.chi is a member of a Pirate themed band called Rojak, who I adore dearly. I discovered Rojak a little before venturing to Japan this year! But anyway, the live looked like it was super fun, even if I was sat for hours beforehand watching these weird solo artists who I have no clue who they were! However I did find out while looking at Gicchi's blog the line up for this evening!!
【出演】志信/高橋侑響永/DELeTE/Lych veilL /Rojak
Of course, Rojak were headlining the show! I had to do a  bit of research on Lych veiL but they were incredibly scary looking. Finally DELeTE came on stage, the stage was rather strangely set out, as the band themselves had to set up their own equipment, so we watched Neu and Renji set out their instruments while Mio tried to tell the female co-host how to pronounce poor Renji's name!
I took a couple screen snaps of the live! I just have to wait for permission from DELeTE Staff to upload them to the Facebook~ But of course with ニコニコ people can talk - during the live words will scroll across the screen! Amusing. (DELeTE did supply us with two other links, but I chose to stick with ニコニコ though it was jumpy at times.

After DELeTE it was Rojak next and finally, they played their set list, and I must admit, Rojak Fans are very cute! They had a theme - which possibly was only due to D.chi and his Birthday, but it was so very cute! During the 'encore' Gicchi announced he was tired! ”眠いです!バイバイ” 笑 So he vanished and D.chi did a couple solo songs. His voice is very powerful, but I prefer Mio's! After awhile Gicchi came back with a Birthday hat for D.chi who didn't see to want to wear it. I'm certain the song they sang kept saying 'SEXY' - awkward.
When Rojak's set was over, they left, only to return with DELeTE and Lych veiL and they did a little lottery for Fans. Wonderfully, a DELeTE fan won the prizes from DELeTE! I saw she got a couple of the flashing rings and a CD. Then the whole group of Bands did a song together, by this time I had stopped screen capping, but Mio had to read the lyrics from the paper, very cute! 笑

To be honest, I miss Japanese lives. I gave up the option to go to see ScReW and I put the money from that towards Japan! I mailed Boo earlier to explain something! But my Japanese still needs to improve, because it's bothersome writing in Japanese with English beneath it. So exciting though! I'll be in Japan again from August through to September!
Today has been a very good day! Yet I feel super exhausted from doing very little. Tomorrow I get to visit my Great Grandma and Grandmother, so I will use the peaceful time to study. Since my Great Grandma usually falls to sleep and I could use the little distractions to study!

(>ω<*)ノノ田♥ Japan GETS

A couple of my GETS from Japan, overly past its well earned due date. I'm sorry but here they are, as partially promised~! So this post will be picture heavy.

First I will started with the random goody bag we got handed in Shibuya 109. Sadly Juu didn't get one, but it was a new store opening I believe and they were passing out little samples of 'SKIN FOOD'  I've been told the product is very good, but I have yet to try these few samples~
Random concert ticket - the coin has a monkey on the opposite side - it was thrown out during one of the most bizarre Japanese acts I have ever witness. I can't even recall the band name, only that Ku was really excited because of one member she knew. The act basically started as Obama and his wife, casually touching each other on stage, before two masked 'bandman' rushed out and started to beat Obama, worried I took a step back considering one of them pulled up a pitchfork and started to stab Michelle - then we realised she was in fact a blow up doll -- finally the band ran through the crowd, to the balcony and scattered these coins onto us... mind fuck? Yeah -- anyway, the チェキ is a very old one of Runchu! Closet Child had a lot of old ones of his band, but mostly 23.

Next we have all the GETS from the live at AREA, which was posted here!  My ジグラット and コドモドラゴン haul. Oh the guitar plectrum is from LANDZ, somehow it managed to fly to the back of the room. みきとさん! 結羽さん! Very cute~ I did want more of them, the single are the one coin kind too, but I didn't buy.
Uggh, the best!! 大好きコドモドラゴンです!! See there is my beloved チャムさん!That is the cheki that appeared on his blog, and I received it too, spooky!?
I was so proud of my 10st as well, it's like my baby, well alongside with the A(エース) one that I own! For the price you pay, you have to baby it. Worth every yen!
The singles I got, and the amazing budget towel. I honestly hope this band grow - a little - bigger. They are releasing their first mini album in May! I was given their newest single as a bonus also, which is featured on their mini album titled CANDY MAN.

The best till last! Well here are the few things from DELeTE I was given since I helped them during a live, you may have read here! I was asking for a CD from the start of their set, but towards the end of the night we were given it, as well as an option to have photos - though using my own camera. I was given a couple extras, a two shot with my 'favourite' member, since  クロちゃん kept demanding to know.

Finally I decided not to upload photos of the clothes I got in Japan, since taking photos of them never shows them off so well, and one shirt will probably look like a blanket. So instead here is my MONOMANIA necklace. Shopping inside MONOMANIA is incredibly hard. Looking online, you can simply close the tab and leave. But in store you can touch and look at everything up close. I already own a fluorescent yellow one but the black one is much easier to coordinate.

I'm being rather trusting that no one is desperate enough to start taking photos from my blog since I do not watermark them. But I will probably hunt them down one day if you do.. so please don't.

私は本当に眠いです。。バイバイ!

28 March 2012

(★ω★。) Tokyo ・ March 2012 ・ PT7

I have been trying to prepare myself for this post ever since I started with my chain of updates from, "Tokyo ・ March 2012 ・ PTX" blogs.. I still am unsure of how to correctly word this entry and keep it entertaining for my readers. So please forgive me if this feels very choppy in places..
So the day was March 16th, which was technically our last day in Japan before we left for home, and I guess this day was the day which I took over since I had work to do! We headed to Shinjuku in order to locate the building - however I forgot my iPOD which had the address and map saved, so we ended up asking staff of a shop, and he checked out the location on his iPAD for us so we found it eventually and with time to spare so we headed back to get food, though I was feeling very nervous at this point.
It was almost 2:45 so we headed back up to HOLIDAY Shinjuku, and for those who are aware of Shinjuku and it's Host/Hostess population, it was amusing seeing groups of them loitering around. We approached the building slowly, and I mentally wanted to slap Renji for having his hair styled in the most typical and common Host style, (it didn't help he wore shades and a face mask either). So we didn't approach them, and waited, though we kept exchanging glances, at one point I asked Juu what to do, but then the JP Staff approached us first and asked for my name. So it was them! We stood talking about details of the day, before the rest came out, Neu and Mio, who were in the middle of getting drinks and food. We spoke about our trip, and where we were staying during our time in Japan, just general chit chat. Though I am incredibly shy so just a couple nods from me. Finally we were taken inside - and this is where the post will get choppy.

We managed to squeeze, Neu, Mio, Juu, Imke, Myself and the JP Staff into the elevator, and we kicked Renji out - though we could hear him running down the stairs frantically while Mio kindly pointed out just how tall Juu was. Which didn't help since she stood in the middle of us all.
Inside we dropped off our bags, but soon went to retrieve them to help with the sound checking. The JP Staff gave us the rules of where we could stand, move to and general basics. Then we stood talking again about the music scene, since he doesn't really like Visual Kei however he is a Friend of the band. A Girl appeared, and we was told her name was 'Kuro-chan', at first she seemed weary of having a bunch of foreigners near her.
Juu gave me a kick as a reminder to give Renji his gift, since he was sat smoking I went to give it him. He was still amazed, though I had shown him on twitter and he was excited, but I ended up handing the gift to Neu - and Mio who was harassing Juu to look at her cigarettes.
After the sound check and letting both Staff and Band view some images, we moved backstage to the smokers area to talk some more about our free time, and what we were doing later. Basically we could go back out to Shinjuku again and return at 7:00 where the staff would meet us again. We said our goodbyes and left to do even more shopping.
Juu finally located the Closet Child, and she bought me a MONOMANIA shirt. We then went into a couple second hand music shops, at this point I wish I had more spending money. I put down two PIECElang cheki and some others because of funds. Weeh. We ventured to DONKI so Imke could buy a Kigurumi. Again my throat was being a pain in the ass, so I probably always looked pissed off at some points.
We arrived a little earlier than 7:00, and because it was evening, a lot more Hosts were out in the area. I knew that the band wouldn't be around on time, since they were running the merch stall themselves and were probably still with Kuro-chan doing make up. Eventually they came back out to fetch us and finally, Renji was showing his face off! Haha, we went back inside to just hang around, and Kuro-chan finally warmed up to us and we got to know her really well. She was absolutely adorable! We went back into the main hall - and the audience made me laugh since it was very very small. Less than 30 people! We waited for DELeTE to play and moved back with Kuro-chan to watch the end of the previous band. Then Juu and I moved in to position.
I was 'amazed' that I just had to choose to stand next to the tallest Japanese I could find, so I often got ARM ARM ELBOW SHOULDER in my photos. So I ended up crouching down for the majority of shots, and seemed to photograph Renji and Mio very well, however Neu was furthest from our given spot, and he only swapped places with Renji a couple times. Once their set had finished, we headed to the back of the room with Kuro-chan since DELeTE had moved back to return their instruments. We shown her a couple of photos, and the JP Staff also. Then we stood around, Mio came back to work the merch stall while Renji passed out fliers to people who attended the show. It was cute seeing the bond between Fans and Band, and because they're still a small band in Japan, they can have more of a one to one with people.
When the next band came on, who were rather amusing for a two man band - Juu and I decided to fake mosh, and Kuro-chan go ever so excited, so we started to talk about dancing, and difference between Japanese Lives in Japan and in Europe. Since there is a big difference! Which she wasn't aware of.
After a couple songs, we all headed backstage to thank DELeTE for the live, and sadly we couldn't hand over our photographs right away due to technical difficulties. We stood and spoke for ages, however we divided into groups, and we spoke more to Kuro-chan than DELeTE, even the JP Staff spoke to us, but he explained Kuro-chan was learning English also!
So Kuro-chan asked us where were our first Japanese words we learnt, so out came our incredibly weebish sides, belting out whatever word came first, NEKO, ARIGATO, OHAYOU!, and then I ended up rather loudly shouting 'BAKA' and that caused DELeTE to slink their way over to us and spoke again, they used a bit of English, Mio's English was -- interesting.

We ended up talking about a variety of things.
☆ Tickle attacks! Kuro-chan makes the cutest noises when you poke attack her!
☆ Finger tricks? This really amazed Renji, though he almost broke his fingers attempting it.
☆ Mexican wave - oh my God I wanted to die. They basically forced me to join.
☆ Purikura! Kuro-chan asked us if we knew of it. I really wish I took my gachapin book.
☆ Piercings; Neu spotted my piercings, since I wore a facemask, which as a result, he approached me suddenly to see them closer, so the entire band starred at me.
☆ Mosh! Mosh! This basically ended with us talking about other VK Bands we liked, and in return we asked what bands they liked, Mio's impression of Jacko killed me.

During the entire time of talking, bands were passing through the area constantly, so I saw Gicchi so many times which amused me. Gicchi is wonderful, and I am the only non-band person on his Ameba, awkward?
In the end we received a Thank You gift from the band, luckily I had a pen so I managed to get an autograph from them, and a two shot cheki. Because of how late it was getting, we had to leave for the last train, so we said Good Bye and left. But it was such an amazing night and I truly enjoyed it, of course!

This is my 'final' part to my Tokyo trip. I truly hope you have enjoyed these posts, though they are more of a small reminder for myself of the adventures I had!  This post has been edited HEAVILY due to privacy and copyright for the bands sake, and I will not disclose anything else.
As a side note: please do not harass DELeTE (or any other band) for the same opportunity. My chance was pure luck in which they accepted my offer, and I worked as Staff having set aside the 'Fan' and acted in a mature manner.

✌ Decoden + "Work"

Whoo~ Mail Gets! (=`・ω・´=) I am really into デコ電 / デコデン - or Decoden. It's a popular trend that originated in Japan, where many High School Girls would decorate their cellphones - MP3 players, gradually it expanded to the point they would decorate, make up brushes, mirrors, contact lens cases and even pens! Decoden has steadily increased popularity outside of Japan, to Korea, China, Europe and America.
Many Decoden pieces are made using multi coloured crystals - either acrylic or swarovski which can be super expensive, but super effective too! Some girls will either create their own pieces using metal or acrylic charms, while others will stick to only crystals and create a well known character! They range from flat bases - to 3D pieces which REALLY stand out in the crowd. Feeling creative? check this page!
I really wasn't content with my case, I own a Blackberry Curve and I did pick up a plain pink case for less than £3 from Tesco. (*ノωノ)チュキ but after a little less than a year I was already getting bored of it, and I had left it half finished also. As much as I love the 3D cases, they're a little clumpy to hold on to, and you can't put it down on the table very well unless you put it face first. (。-_-。)ノ
Since last year I had my eye on one case in particular - and despite my 'no spending' scheme, I caved and purchased  (。・ω・。)。*チュ・゜*キ*。・

It needed a little touching up, a couple gems were easy to remove and replace, while I added a few extras to fill in the gaps. Sadly I don't have a deep enough blue to fill in the most ANNOYING gap on Stitch's mouth.

My next decision was to pick which few straps I wanted to attach. Though I totally love my unofficial Stitch head, so he won! (ノ=´∀`=)ノ I'm still undecided about the other two, and then suddenly remembering the straps Juu had sent me!!

End result! Well; not 100% yet - I need to figure out when my contract has completed, then the next plan is to buy a new housing case, both pink and blue! Though there will still be some black, sadly that is unchangeable.
All in all, a good days work~  +。゚φ(・ω・*)+。゚
On a totally unrelated note - a very cheeky person by the name of Koki from DELeTE asked me to become UK Staff for his band. ♪ DELeTE STAFF UK ♪ I would love to see more UK Fans following the Twitter, and the boys too. There has been a sudden popularity surge with DELeTE - but the boys truly need it and are reaching out not only to their Japanese Fans, but Worldwide!
