So the wonderful Sarah gave me a Leibster Award! Aww~ If you click her name she has already blogged a useful description about this! That and - er - I'm too lazy to write it out. Hah!

☆ I've been to Japan three times now and would go again if I could.
☆ I wear shorts all year round because of  my leg being swollen.
☆ Whenever I get stressed, I grind my teeth in my sleep - loudly.
☆ I love take outs way too much, as well as instant noodles.
☆ I'm in a long distance relationship because I fear being too close to others.
☆ I have major trust issues, and will more than likely doubt your motives.
☆ Sometimes talking to my Japanese Friends distracts me from reality.
☆ I treat my Cat as if she were my baby. Yes; I want to carry her in my purse.

1. How would you describe your fashion style?
I always find this difficult to answer! My style usually falls more towards shorts and long shirts with very little colour at all.

2. If you were a model for any particular magazine, what one would you choose to model for?
Ehh~ I'd love to say EGG or Kera - but then partially I wouldn't REALLY want to be a model, but if I had to chose a magazine it would be FRUiTS though, they are street snaps.

3. What is your opinion on plus sized models?
Is not about the size that matters. Girl (or boys!) if you've got the confidence, you've got the job! Honestly, I am sick of stick thin models and mannequins in shop windows. Give me a REAL human please.

4. If you were locked in a cupboard for a weekend with one item of food and drink to survive on, what item would that food and drink be?
I'm glad I get the choice since all we have is catfood in there. Chicken udon and melon soda. I'm set for life basically when I move to Japan trapped in the Boys room.

5. If you were given a one way ticket to any location in the world - where would you go?
Lol Japan.

6. Best live gig you have been to so far in your life?
This is difficult! SUPER difficult because of how many I've attended. Oneman shows, I would have to say Zip.er at Shibuya O-WEST. Then it would have to be the last show I saw in Japan with Codomo Dragon and N@H.

7. A song that makes you feel nostalgic?
Hm, PIECEmaker, or ONESTAR by PIECElang, simply because of the live and the atmosphere. The struggle and difficulty in getting their in the first place! But, it was worth it.

8. If you were to meet your idol, how would you react and what would you say to them?
I kinda did meet my idol -- I recall that I stiffened up, like 'He is there.' which didn't help when he sat beside me. I didn't speak, because I'm dumb.

9. Favourite item of clothing/accessory/footwear in your wardrobe?
... TOO MANY! Though I have nothing amazing to say about my wardrobe. Possibly my Monomania things -- or 10ST bracelets?

10. What do you aspire to become?
Housewife.

11. What life lessons do you live by?
"No matter how much sugar you put on a shit, it will always remain a shit."

(っ´∀｀)っ Isle of Wight

Yo~Ho~!!

 

I recently went to Isle of Wight on a family holiday! It was much needed after previous events back home, and the change of scenery was relaxing. Even though the weather wasn't great and was typically British, sun in the morning, wind and rain in the afternoon and finally rain or a light mist. So I couldn't really dress well at all, regardless to the fact it is now officially summer, I wore my scarf a lot. The only nice days I captured on camera were actually cold and windy, but yet people still insisted on going into the sea.

My Father had previously been to Isle of Wight, but as a child, so we went to visit a lot of the places he could recall. One of those things happened to be a Train. It travelled along the pier into the middle of the ocean. At first I thought, there was another train connecting it back to the bottom of Britain as Isle of Wight is a small part of the UK just a  very small isle, but no. It was basically a train to the middle of the ocean, and yes. Yes I was scared because of my phobia for ocean water and what is in the water -- gah. We decided to walk back inshore, which was still rather uncomfortable and I started with the, 'What if?!' situations. Anyway I obviously made it back alive. The train line had the original line next to it, albeit the wooden structure. Urban Ocean?

I had such a nice time away with my Family, even if they drive me nuts towards the end of the week. But I had a great experience, travelling on a Ferry, a floating bridge (don't ask), and lots more~! I haven't completed any of my gift ideas for my Boo yet, although I got his Sister the CUTEST plushie ever. It's tag says 'Nacho' but I'm going to hand it and say 'Chibi!' or point to the dog, and hope she doesn't give it him... I also got him a sand glass sculpture, so it'll be hard explaining that one in Japanese to him when he receives it. When returning home I was excited to fetch my Cats, I miss Mia so much! Not only that, but this Thursday we are rehoming a new cat, called Sam! He's beautiful, big black panther. The only downside to coming home is facing the reality all over again, oh well~

It's finally June! We are half way through the year already, crazy. Eventually my items arrived, but I collected a whole bunch to make the post worthwhile. So it's super image heavy and wordy too..

 

Recently I've been having really bad break outs, and I still had a gift voucher to use at Boots, so I thought I would try something 'new' in my skin routine. I quote new, because I have used witch previously as a teen and found it does in fact work wonderfully. The concealer stick was on sale too! So I snagged it up quickly mainly because, yes we all know it's bad to put make up on bad skin, but we all still do it. However this concealer has witch hazel in it, so not only does it hide your spots it helps to fight them! You can use it alone, or as a base beneath your foundation, so you don't need to worry about it looking patchy. Witch has a large range of items for skin care, it's a natural product too so you know you're not completely using harsh chemicals on your skin. Anyway, enough about spots and pimples.

 

Movies! My Parents had 4x £20 gift cards to use in HMV and I cheekily asked if I could have one, so they were divided out between me and my Brother as well as our parents, so I had yet another voucher to play with. I ended up buying the Ring trilogy, and I admit I kinda regret it since I've seen it so many times. I also picked up END CALL since I was curious, I couldn't find One Missed Call, and I thought that this was a really bad parody, but in fact it did make me and my Brother squirm at some points! Eugh. The ending however was sad, and slightly unexpected. But I do recommend it to my readers who are interested in - mild gore. Oh, I had a couple pounds left to use, so I ended up getting the scariest of all movies. Scary, Tamagotchi the Movie. WHAT ON EARTH. I love Tamagotchi, okay?

 

The weather here suddenly increased and the last week was unbearably hot. Which is good for me, since I now learned to complain about the heat to my Boo, rather than the cold! I had some money rolling around in my Paypal, and I needed some new things for summer, and when I go to visit Boo. I love finding Shops from Hong Kong who sell for cheap, and ship for free! Wonderful, even if you have to wait 2 - 3 weeks! 

 

I accidentally ruined a nice pair of stockings, but Katie gave me a good idea to cut them - but my plan was halted, I didn't have a garter belt. So I found a Shop selling them for less than £2, the same shop had the collagen eyepads you see on the right. Amazingly my sleeping pattern has gone to pot, so I have serious dark circles and I'm not happy at all with my appearance. Oh from the same shop I purchased a scarf - yeah in the middle of summer, but actually, it's really thin and light, and it's pictured above! Black stars and white~ it's so cute, but was impossible to photograph alone, so - yeah. 

 

So, I was a little bad, and impulsed, but they were selling really cheap on eBay by a private auction, and I was expecting to be outbid at just £10. Apparently not. But this RRP at £50+ so I got a wonderful bargain. But they are in ear plugs, haha crap. I dislike them it sounds badly like I am drowning or something.

Oh and FINALLY; my "speaker" arrived this morning via a very grumpy postman! It's a Koala, I asked for the bear originally because he looked like Rilakkuma, but after starring at this little marsupial he has grown on me!!

Best of all, he was FREE!! (Well, he actually cost me around £600) Basically the entertainment system on my flight back from Japan screwed up - well mine WAS working, until they rebooted the whole row, and mine failed. So British Airways gave us a £30 gift voucher to use as compensation and an apology. After searching the store, this was the only item I liked. (It was so expensive, a keychain cost £50?!) So this was £28 - he's small and handbag sized, but I was sceptical of how well it would sound? But - it sounds AMAZING! Very powerful speakers, and no echo feed back. Perfect, time to bug everyone in Tokyo.

Well, that's all really. I'm waiting on one more package, and that's just it for now. Next Wednesday I am going to visit the Queen, as well as Will and Kate. The Royals are coming to my City, so Sako and I will go to see if we can see them! Next week I will begin studying intensively. Even if I have to staple a book to my face and sew a pen into my hand! Wish me luck!

♪ 金環日食 ♪

I wasn't going to blog originally until my order from eBay arrived, then I can spam you with pointless things I have purchased! （´∀｀） Oh well~ I just received mail from the Sleep Monster and got incredibly distracted from life study.
So! Did any of you see the solar eclipse? I know the Japanese were very enthusiastic about it, China too, and I believe some parts of America were able to witness it too! I am very jealous! The UK missed out.
I had asked the Boy last night if he was awake for the solar eclipse in Japan and well -- his delay in reply and finally responding at 5am UK time made it obvious; 'OHY! I was not looking. Very disappointing.' figures... but I sat watching a couple ustreams since I find these things fascinating! I was disappointed to not see the super moon here in the UK, though I generally was not paying much attention either.

 

I think the host of the ustream had a night vision on, of some sort. But it made the sun and moon incredibly easy to see - yet somewhat eerie too?  I was watching my Twitter too, many of the Japanese I follow were tweeting about the sky being misty, and hard to see. I think it varied from place to place of course. Kanon announced he was at his Parents, who live in Chiba, and he got a clear shot of it. However people in Tokyo seemed to have difficulty?

Their complaints were obvious, as soon as the host swapped to a daytime shot, I could see why many of my fellow Tweeters were complaining about the clouds. Occasionally the eclipse would vanish behind thick clouds.
Apparently, the next annular solar eclipse visible will be observed in Hokkaido, Japan in 2030! Amazing! But Hokkaido is super cold, so I don't think I would be going there.

The Boy did however send me one photo today, not sure where he got it from, but after replying I kinda realised it reminds me of the ring. He is insisting I do not cut my hair, though I cut my bangs and he looked pretty upset. So now, please refer to me as '貞子'! Since I am unable to cut my hair.
